Our take
Stage counts don't measure performance; cartridge life and named media matter more.
Against the AquaBliss, it costs less up front but states a shorter cartridge life, so over a year the two end up closer in cost than the shelf price suggests.
It's an inline filter like the AquaBliss, so it keeps your current head. The housing unscrews to swap cartridges, and multi-packs bring the per-cartridge cost down. Buyers mainly comment on how hair and skin feel and on water flow; durability and leaks are the recurring complaints, so tighten both threads with fresh plumber's tape and check for drips after the first few showers.
It's the cheapest way to find out whether a shower filter makes a difference for you. The short stated cartridge life means running costs add up over a year, so if you like it, a filter with longer stated life may cost less long-term.
The '20 stages' claim describes layers of media; it isn't a measure of how much chlorine is removed, and none of those stages softens water.
Multi-pack cartridges lower the per-cartridge cost. If chlorine smell returns sooner than the stated life, your water may be heavily chlorinated; that's a sign to compare whole-house carbon filtration.
What buyers report
Summarised from Amazon buyer reviews; not our own testing.
- Mostly positive comments on hair and skin effects, water flow and skin feel.
- Mixed comments on functionality and water pressure: some buyers are happy, others report problems.
- More complaints than praise about durability and leakage; check this before buying.
