Verdict: An 80,000-grain heavy-duty softener for 6–8 people, with modest clear-water iron reduction for well users. It ranks #8 in our best water softener systems list and also appears in well (#5).

Big households (up to 6 bathrooms) with very hard water.
Who should skip it
Small homes: an oversized softener regenerates too rarely and wastes nothing but money.
Pros
- Largest capacity on the list
- Listed for city and well water
- Digital valve calculates salt and water use
Cons
- Warranty terms conflict on the listing (see specs)
- Iron reduction is low compared with the fine-mesh units
- Low stock at research time
Our take
Capacity is the reason to buy it. At 80,000 grains it goes much longer between regenerations than a 48K unit in a busy household.
The listing gives two different warranties (5 years in the bullets, 1 year or 3 with registration in the spec table). We leave warranty blank until PRO+AQUA confirms it.
